At the palace a prince is born: Wildeman! His mom and dad are blissfully happy. Here he is, their son, who will later become the king. But something’s being whispered.. There is something about that child. He’s too active. Too wild. He’s not listening. Isn’t he actually.. a monkey?

A dancer, two singers, three musicians and an actor give shape to Wildeman’s adventures. With music by the impetuous Mozart, Theater Sonnevanck, the Netherlands Symphony Orchestra and the   Dutch Touring Opera create a dazzling performance about an impossible monkey with whom things still work out eventually.
